Job description

Ensure safety, security and a warm onboard experience across short-, medium- and long-haul routes. Perform safety and service procedures, support onboard sales, and work variable rosters that can keep you away from home for over half the month. When on standby, be able to reach your base within 90 minutes. Initial training (about 10 weeks) is conducted full-time near FRA/MUC. Clear development paths include promotion to Responsible Cabin Manager.

Requirements

  • Valid passport, plus residence and work permit for Germany 
  • German C1 required; English B1/B2 for onboard communication and manuals 
  • Minimum age 18 
  • Physically fit; pre-employment medical (e.g., hearing/vision) 
  • Able to swim several lengths safely 
  • No fixed minimum height; must have sufficient reach to perform onboard tasks 
  • Tattoos may be visible (no face tattoos; no political or religious statements) 
  • Attendance at recruitment days in Frankfurt or Munich is essential (in-person) 

Benefits

Training costs covered; €500/month expense allowance during training (approx. 10 weeks) 
Starting salary as Cabin Manager €2,887.50 gross incl. weekend/shift allowance; after RCM training €3,202.50 gross plus paid RCM allowance; weekend/shift allowance (currently 16.3%) generally tax-free 
Multi-flight-hour compensation above 75 block hours; commission on in-flight sales 
Standby flights on Lufthansa Group airlines (and beyond) plus industry discounts; Jobticket and free airport parking
Statutory per diem rates paid on duty trips 
Part-time models available after joining (FRA: start full-time then apply 50–100%; MUC: full-time or direct part-time) 
Ongoing training & progression opportunities (e.g., Responsible Cabin Manager)
