• Minimum age 20 • High school diploma or GED • At least two years of customer service experience in fields such as retail, hospitality, food service, education, aviation, or social services • Height and weight must allow safe operation including ability to sit in a jumpseat with harness without modification and to navigate the aisle and operate emergency exits • Valid US or foreign passport with required visas, all documents valid through at least December 31, 2026 • If holding a foreign passport, all necessary documentation to work and travel as a flight attendant in the US and internationally • Legal right to work in the United States and ability to travel without restriction to all states and countries served by American • Willing to relocate based on company needs • Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required • Able to report for on call reserve duty at the assigned base for an undetermined period • Professional uniform and appearance standards met • No visible tattoos • No more than one earring per ear • No facial piercings • Fluent in English for reading, writing, announcements, and emergency instructions • Strong safety awareness and ability to perform all safety procedures • Service focused, positive attitude, problem solving and adaptability
