Job description

SWISS is recruiting direct entry First Officers for short-haul operations based in Zurich. The role includes safe and efficient aircraft operation, flight preparation and execution, cooperation with crew, ground staff, and air traffic control, and supporting the Commander in all operational matters. Candidates are expected to maintain professional standards, act responsibly, and contribute to the premium service quality of Switzerland’s largest airline.

Very good German language skills (minimum B2 if German is not native or daily language)
Good conversational English

Additional Requirements:

Completed secondary education with Matura / Abitur / HF diploma / general higher education entrance qualification
Fully documented flying record (logbook, licence, supporting records)
Swiss citizenship or EU-27 / EFTA passport
Clean background record
Willingness to receive vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever if required)
Height between 160 cm and 198 cm
Maximum age 56 years
Mature, reliable, loyal personality with social skills and leadership potential
