The role includes supporting the Captain during all phases of flight, safe and efficient aircraft operation, and delivering reliable holiday-focused services across a varied route network. First Officers receive mentoring from experienced Captains and can develop their career within the wider TUI Group.

  • Minimum 500 flight hours on qualifying aircraft, or
  • Minimum 100 route sectors on qualifying aircraft
  • Qualifying aircraft includes multi-pilot turbo-jet aircraft certified to CS-25 or equivalent, or multi-pilot turboprop aircraft with minimum 10 tonnes MTOM, or more than 19 passenger seats

Other License Requirements

  • MCC completed in accordance with FCL.735.A
  • Advanced UPRT completed in accordance with FCL.745.A
  • Eligible for Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) in accordance with FCL.730.A

Additional Requirements

  • Valid passport permitting unrestricted worldwide travel
  • Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restrictions
  • Visa sponsorship not available
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and airport security background checks
  • Eligible for airport ID issuance
  • Minimum height 1.58 m (5 ft 2 in)
  • Able to swim at least 25 metres
  • Able to report to assigned base within 90 minutes when on standby
