Role overview
Loganair is recruiting Direct Entry Captains based from the Manchester crew hub for ATR operations supporting Isle of Man services. The role includes full responsibility for the safety, security, and operation of the aircraft, crew, and passengers from report time until shutdown after flight completion. Captains are expected to lead the crew, make operational decisions, and maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, and service.

Requirements

- Current or recent command experience on multi-crew aircraft *Aircraft must be above 10 tonnes MTOW or configured for more than 19 passengers
Other License Requirements
- Valid ATR 42/72 type rating preferred
Additional Requirements
- Strong technical ability
- Strong communication skills
- Proven teamwork and leadership skills
- Good knowledge of aviation regulations, safety practices, and flight operations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Professional, proactive, and safety-focused attitude
- Ability to work approximately 5 consecutive days / 4 nights per week in the Isle of Man
