Job Description
Buzz is recruiting experienced non-type-rated B737 Captains for multiple Buzz bases within the Ryanair Group. The role is aimed at pilots with previous multi-crew jet command experience who will complete B737 training before operating on the group’s Boeing 737 fleet.

- Minimum 2,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft above 30,000 kg MTOW with an established airline, cargo operator or military transport operation.
- Minimum 800 PIC hours on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft above 30,000 kg MTOW.
- PIC hours on turboprop aircraft are not creditable toward the minimum PIC requirement.
- Multi-crew, multi-engine jet operation above 30,000 kg MTOW within the 36 months before the course start date.
Other License Requirements
- For EASA licence holders, the application must be made within 36 months of the most recent relevant type rating “Valid Until” date in Section XII, Certificate of Revalidation.
- The relevant type rating must not have expired for more than 3 years at the intended course commencement date.
- This is a non-type-rated Captain position.
Other Language Requirements
- Written English proficiency required at Operational Level.
Additional Requirements
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU required.
- Must not be over 65 years of age.
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check required.
- Ability to meet all applicable regulatory requirements required.
- Online work-related behavioural assessment required before training.
- Online assessment fee of €60 applies and is non-refundable.
- Simulator assessment and in-person interview required if shortlisted.
