Airline Flight Academy is accepting applications for a partly sponsored B737 type rating pathway connected to Ryanair DAC bases in the United Kingdom. Successful candidates complete B737 training before progressing toward Boeing 737-8200 operations within the Ryanair Group.

  • Modular course graduates require 100 PIC hours.
  • Integrated course graduates require 70 PIC hours if completed under Appendix 3 A, C and D to Part-FCL and AMC1 to Appendix 3 A, C and D.

Other License Requirements

  • Valid EASA CPL with frozen ATPL required.
  • Dual UK and EASA licence holders are eligible if all relevant EASA ratings are held.
  • Valid EASA multi-engine instrument rating required.
  • EASA Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training certificate required in accordance with FCL.745.A.
  • EASA APS MCC certificate required in accordance with AMC2 FCL.735.A.
  • Standard MCC and MCC/JOC certificates are not accepted.
  • Type-rated applicants are not exempt from the APS MCC requirement.

Other Language Requirements

  • Written English proficiency required at Operational Level.

Additional Requirements

  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK required, including UK pre-settled status.
  • Flight school report required in English, signed by the Head of Training.
  • Flight school report must include all ATPL results, including repeats, CPL and MEIR series passes, and training performance information.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Must not be over 65 years of age.
  • Candidates with only a UK licence are not eligible for this partly sponsored Ryanair DAC EASA programme.
  • Ryanair Future Flyer Academy applicants with mentored training completion from an official partner flight school are prioritised during initial selection and type rating course allocation.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced background check required.
  • Ability to meet all applicable regulatory requirements required.
  • Online AON pre-assessment required.
  • Online assessment fee of €60 applies.
  • Simulator assessment in a B737-800 or B737-8200 FTD required if shortlisted.
  • English language test, technical assessment and personnel interview required if shortlisted.
