Role overview
Norwegian is recruiting experienced non-type-rated First Officers for its European pilot operation. The role is aimed at pilots with previous multi-crew, multi-engine experience who meet EASA licensing requirements and may be offered a base in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia or Spain, subject to operational requirements and training capacity.

- Military pilots require minimum 800 total hours.
- Minimum 500 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft.
Other License Requirements
- EASA ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory required.
- A-UPRT and MCC required, unless the candidate holds or previously held a multi-pilot type rating under EASA.
- Multi-engine instrument rating must be valid at the time of application.
- Expired multi-engine instrument ratings may be accepted if they have not been expired for more than 12 months.
- Pilot licence should preferably be issued by Denmark, Sweden or Norway.
- Non-Scandinavian EASA licences are accepted but must be converted to Denmark, Sweden or Norway within 12 months of signing a contract with Norwegian.
- All licences and medical certificates must be valid and current at the time of application.
Additional Requirements
- Legal right to live and work in the EU/EEC region required.
- Unrestricted passport required.
- No criminal record required.
- Ability to pass a 5-year security check required.
- Minimum height 157 cm.
- Mandatory background checks required before employment, including security interview, drug and alcohol testing, licence verification and employment history validation.
