Job description

Keep customers safe and comfortable while representing Akasa Air on board. Carry out safety and service procedures to company and DGCA standards. Coordinate with the flight deck and ground teams, assist customers throughout the journey, manage cabin presentation and contribute to a positive team culture. Freshers and experienced crew are both invited to apply.

Requirements

Indian national with a valid Passport, PAN and Aadhaar
Minimum age 18 to 28 for freshers. Up to 35 for experienced cabin crew.
Minimum education 10+2.
Fluency in English and Hindi.
Minimum height 155 cm for women and 167.5 cm for men. Weight in proportion.
Medically fit as per DGCA norms. Typical BMI range noted as 18 to 23 for women and 18 to 25 for men.
No visible tattoos or marks while in uniform.

Benefits

Contract length 5 years with possibility of renewal.

During training, stipend listed as ₹18,000 per month for freshers and ₹25,000 per month for experienced crew. Staff travel benefits apply during training. Accommodation assistance through guest houses may be available.

Employee leisure travel. Unlimited space available travel for the employee and six nominated family members including live in and LGBTQ partners while employed.

Medical insurance coverage.

Creche facility available for employees.

Layover or sustenance allowance noted as ₹500 up to 10 hours. Deadhead allowance noted as ₹350 per sector.
