1500 hours
• ATP certificate holder 1500 hours minimum • 1500 total time • At least 23 years old • 500 cross country • 100 night • 75 instrument • 50 multi engine 25 actual and up to 25 simulator time • Restricted ATP eligible 1500 hours minimum • 1500 total time • Up to 100 hours may be simulator time • 250 PIC in an airplane • At least 21 years old • 200 cross country including 100 PIC cross country in an airplane • 100 night including 25 PIC night in an airplane • 75 instrument • 25 multi engine • ATP CTP completed and current ATP written
• Must be able to read write speak and understand English fluently
• Legal authorization to work in the United States • Current FAA First Class medical certificate • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit • Valid U.S. passport or valid passport with green card and the ability to travel to all cities and countries served by Sun Country • Valid U.S. driver’s license • High school diploma GED or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred • Recent flight experience preferred
• First year First Officer pay 83.28 USD per flight hour • Work life balance features including short call reserve with a two hour call out and no airport reserve • 100 percent pay protection for cancelled trips and 100 percent pay for deadhead legs • Average per diem 2.80 USD per hour • Health dental and vision plans, company paid life and AD and D, and long term disability • 401k contribution equal to 15 percent of eligible 2024 earnings regardless of pilot participation • Hotel accommodations during initial training for pilots living 50 miles or more from Minneapolis, paid parking, CASS and database jumpseat authorization • Flight benefits for employees and eligible travelers beginning on date of hire and mentorship during the first year
