Job Description

Jetconnect is collecting expressions of interest for New Zealand-based Short Haul Flight Attendant positions. The role supports Qantas Group short-haul flying, including Trans-Tasman routes, with a focus on passenger safety, customer service and onboard wellbeing. No previous airline or cabin crew experience is needed, with full training provided before flying duties. This position is currently not an active recruitment rather an first expression of interest.

Requirements

Minimum age 18.
Height between 163 cm and 183 cm.
New Zealand or Australian permanent residency.
Passport allowing unrestricted access to all Qantas ports of call.
Passport valid for at least 12 months.
Current Senior First Aid Certificate with at least 12 months validity at time of application.
Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment by the end of the recruitment process.
Strong commitment to customer service.
Recent face-to-face customer service experience.
Ability to show empathy when working with people from different cultures and countries.
Excellent health and fitness.
Ability to swim 50 metres fully clothed.
Understanding that crew bases are located in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
Food and beverage service experience advantageous.
Additional languages advantageous.
