Train for the Aerodrome and Approach Control Diploma coordinated by the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority. The program is delivered by the Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Training Centre and develops tower and approach skills through classroom modules, simulator practicums and preparation for supervised on-the-job training. SLASPA announces intakes and facilitates access for suitably qualified Saint Lucian applicants. 
SLASPA is the national ports and airports authority created by Act No. 10 of 1983. It manages the island’s two airports and principal seaports and oversees smaller points of entry. The authority coordinates airport operations and training initiatives and works with regional partners to support safe and efficient air navigation services for Saint Lucia. 
• Minimum age 18  • Five GCE, CXC or CSEC passes including English and Mathematics. Higher qualifications such as CAPE or A-Levels are an advantage  • Proficiency in English and clear spoken communication. Basic computer literacy  • Sit and pass the program’s aptitude testing and complete the document screening steps set by the training centre
• Program delivered on a full-time schedule with classroom and simulator training that prepares you for unit on-the-job training  • Tuition support depends on the training centre and applicant status. SLASPA’s prior calls note that applicants may be responsible for program costs
