Train for the Professional Career in Air Traffic Control with the Escuela Técnica Aeronáutica. The program runs six semesters and combines theory with simulator work to prepare you for operational training within Chile’s civil aviation system. Applications are submitted online through ETA’s admissions process that uses Clave Única.
The Escuela Técnica Aeronáutica is the higher education institution of Chile’s civil aviation authority. It trains professionals and technicians for DGAC units nationwide, including the professional Air Traffic Control career and other aviation specialties. Admissions are run annually through ETA’s website using Clave Única. The school operates in Santiago and publishes program specific information and contacts on its site.  
• Chilean citizen or foreign national with permanent residency in Chile  • Preferably up to 30 years old at the time of application  • Military status up to date for male applicants  • No criminal record or pending criminal proceedings  • Completed secondary education or in the final year of schooling  • PSU or PDT or PTU results taken in 2019 or later, including NEM and Ranking scores as specified by ETA  • Health compatible with future duties, supported by a medical report signed by an institutional health provider, as stated in ETA’s admission information
