Trainee Air Traffic Controller

Job description

Train with DFS to become an air traffic controller for Germany’s towers, approaches, and en-route centers. You’ll start with 12–16 months of classroom and simulator training at the DFS Academy in Langen, then move into 12–24 months of on-the-job training at an operational unit, coaching with live traffic from day one. The selection pathway includes online testing, two assessment stages in Hamburg (computer/simulation tasks, teamwork exercises, interviews incl. English), and a final aviation medical.
