Trainee Air Traffic Controller

Job description

Train as an Air Traffic Controller with ANS CR and move from classroom and simulator modules at the Czech Air Navigation Institute (CANI) into supervised on-the-job training at operational units. The full path takes at least 24 months (about 12 months of initial training, then local/unit training on rostered shifts), preparing you for tower/approach or en-route roles at the national IATCC in Jeneč and other ATS units. Selection is competitive and multi-stage (English proficiency check, FEAST, medical fitness, assessment centre). Employment starts at the beginning of training.
