Train with Luxembourg’s Air Navigation Administration (ANA) to become an air traffic controller serving Luxembourg-Findel and its controlled airspace. The pathway combines classroom and simulator phases (Initial Training ~9 months, conducted in Helsinki) with Rating Training, followed by ~15 months of on-the-job training in Luxembourg. You’ll learn to manage traffic safely and efficiently in tower and approach environments, pass theoretical and practical exams, and progress to a European ATCO licence upon successful completion.
ANA is Luxembourg’s state air navigation service provider under the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works. Its remit covers managing air traffic in Luxembourg airspace (and parts of adjacent airspace), maintaining CNS/ATM infrastructure, and providing aerodrome services at Luxembourg-Findel. ANA also ensures emergency response readiness, meteorological and aerodrome information services, plus maintenance of aerodrome lighting and power, all in support of safe, efficient operations.
