HungaroControl is hiring licensed air traffic controllers to join its en-route operations serving Hungarian airspace and the upper airspace over Kosovo (KFOR). You’ll handle en-route traffic flows, maintain safe separation, relay critical information, coordinate with adjacent units, and respond to abnormal and emergency situations. New joiners receive a short, role-specific transition course, regular simulator training to maintain ratings, and relocation support for moving to Budapest.
HungaroControl is Hungary’s state air navigation service provider, managing civil air traffic in the Budapest FIR and, by NATO request, the upper airspace of Kosovo. Operations are delivered from Budapest ACC and national units with modern ATM systems, supported by continuous training and simulator programs. The company also partners with Entry Point North via Entry Point Central, Hungary’s ATS academy in Budapest, to develop controller skills.
• Valid EU ATCO licence with Area Control Surveillance (ACS) rating and corresponding unit endorsement • EU citizenship • Clean criminal record • Ability to work independently and proactively; strong decision-making and communication; accuracy and precision; team orientation Additionally expected / advantageous • Dedication, responsibility, openness, willingness to learn and develop, and an “adventurous” mindset • Prior knowledge of ATC concepts and terminology (listed as an advantage)
