Role overview
Finnair is recruiting Cabin Crew Members for its Helsinki-based operation, with training courses beginning gradually from early 2027 and continuing throughout spring. The role combines cabin safety and passenger service across Finnair’s domestic, European and long-haul network, with duties ranging from multi-sector workdays to long-haul flights to Asia. Previous cabin crew experience is not required.

Requirements
- Minimum height 160 cm.
- Minimum reach 218 cm barefoot, with standing on tiptoes permitted.
- Good general health.
- Medical fitness meeting EASA Part-MED requirements and Finnair’s operational requirements.
- Ability to work irregular hours and night shifts and manage the effects of circadian disruption.
- Ability to complete Finnair Health Services’ pre-employment medical suitability assessment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Clean criminal record and successful pre-employment security clearance.
- Five-year background check covering employment and education history, including any gaps.
- Foreign criminal history declaration if resident and registered outside Finland for more than 6 months during the previous 5 years.
- Ability to live in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area when required to fulfil standby duties.
- Full on-site attendance throughout cabin crew training.
- Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements within the specified timeframe.
- Previous cabin crew experience not required.

- Monthly basic salary of approximately €1,800 gross, increasing with experience to approximately €3,000 gross for long-serving cabin crew.
- Salary additions typically worth approximately 30–40% of basic salary, including Sunday and night-duty allowances.

- Up to 2 years of previous cabin crew experience recognised for salary purposes under the Collective Labour Agreement.
